There is a famous MahaShakthi Om Mari Amman Temple in Ramapalayam, very well maintained by the villagers. There is heavy crowd here on Kanum Pongal day, when thousands of Devotees from all over the place throng here and perform Poojas. This temple has a huge campus in Acres and this houses other deities also (Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Navagrahas, Sapth Kannigal and Goddess Dhroupathi). There is a snake pit, Sacred Fig tree (Arasa Maram) next to this temple.

4) Lord Subramanya / Murugan (known as Kumaragiri Devasthanam) in a mountain 1 KM on Arani Road.
5) Om Gangai Amman temple (200 Mts from Theradi/Bus stop/Auto Stand)
